- Describe the prevalence of and effect of SUD, depression, and violence on the course of HIV in women, including the negative impact on adherence to treatment.
- Develop a plan to screen for SUDs, depression, and violence and to refer for those who screen positive.
- Address specific risks and challenges of this syndemic in specific populations of women, including pregnant women, immigrants, and minority women.

Lauren Rineer is a licensed social worker in Pennsylvania. For over 10 years, she has been a champion for helping clients with their mental health and trauma healing. She has worked in outpatient behavioral health, long term care and acute care. She is passionate about empowering individuals with chronic conditions live their best life while healing from trauma. She is a certified competent trauma professional through Lakeside Global and trained in Rational Living Therapy.
