Being a migraine sufferer for the majority of her life, Alyssa has always been interested in helping others who are also negatively impacted by headaches. She spent almost eight years at the college of Misericordia in Dallas, Pennsylvania, obtaining her Masters of Science in Nursing and my Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees. In 2017, Alyssa moved from Scranton, Pennsylvania, to Baltimore to start her professional journey in the headache world. She has been incredibly privileged through the Johns Hopkins Health System in being able to partake and experience the largest headache conferences that the US has to offer, as well as always remaining updated on the latest and greatest migraine treatments and clinical trial results. Given that the chief complaint of “headache” is one of the top nationwide health concerns, Alyssa very much looks forward to helping bridge the gap between headache treatment and primary care.
